🌧️ Soaked, Late, and Still Worth It: My Unexpected Workshop Journey

Last night, I did everything right. I ironed my clothes. Planned my timing. Set my alarm for 7:30 AM. Tucked in my shirt (something I never do — but her persuasion worked). And left home at 8:30 AM, confident I’d reach the workshop well before it began at 10. I had it all figured out. Until I didn’t. Reality Check in 5 Minutes Five minutes into my ride, the sky flipped. Rain. Heavy, unrelenting rain. Within minutes, I was drenched — completely soaked on my bike, clutching to hope and my already fading confidence. The irony? I had literally ironed everything to avoid this kind of chaos. Still, I didn’t want to give up. I called up a friend — he was also on the way to the workshop — and asked him to pick us up. But he got stuck in traffic too. By the time we reached the venue, it was 10:45 AM. That meant I was late by almost 45 minutes.
