🌧️ Soaked, Late, and Still Worth It: My Unexpected Workshop Journey
Last night, I did everything right.
I ironed my clothes.
Planned my timing.
Set my alarm for 7:30 AM.
Tucked in my shirt (something I never do — but her persuasion worked).
And left home at 8:30 AM, confident I’d reach the workshop well before it began at 10.
I had it all figured out.
Until I didn’t.
Reality Check in 5 Minutes
Five minutes into my ride, the sky flipped.
Rain. Heavy, unrelenting rain.
Within minutes, I was drenched — completely soaked on my bike, clutching to hope and my already fading confidence.
The irony? I had literally ironed everything to avoid this kind of chaos.
Still, I didn’t want to give up. I called up a friend — he was also on the way to the workshop — and asked him to pick us up. But he got stuck in traffic too. By the time we reached the venue, it was 10:45 AM.
That meant I was late by almost 45 minutes.
Frustrated, wet, tired — but still… I walked in.
👨💻 Session 1: Renald Sir’s Talk on Career Building
The first session was halfway through, led by Renald Sir.
Even though I had missed some of the introduction, I sat at the very back of the hall and tried to catch up.
Despite the distance (and the soggy state I was in), I stayed alert. He spoke about career paths in IT and software, how to start discovering your interest, and how to build something meaningful step by step. His talk made me think — not just about jobs, but about the why behind what we choose to pursue.
He asked a few questions to the audience.
And guess what? Even from the back row, only she and I answered.
Sometimes, it’s not where you sit — it’s how present you are.
A coordinator later came up to us and quietly said,
"You both can come sit in the front, it'll be easier to hear and follow."
And just like that, we moved closer — both physically and mentally - into the workshop.
🎯 Session 2: Vishnu Prasad — Where Learning Met Laughter
The next session, led by Vishnu Prasad Sir, changed the entire mood.
He brought the energy up by 10 levels.
With games, humor, and relatable stories, he turned complex topics into simple, unforgettable lessons.
Whether it was about job roles, expectations, or personal growth, he delivered it in a way that made all of us feel seen — like he was talking with us, not at us.
It was the kind of session where you leave lighter, smarter, and more inspired.
- You can show up late, and still show up right.
I didn’t have a perfect morning. But I didn’t let it stop me from learning. - Passion doesn’t always come with clarity — it comes with action.
Start somewhere. Keep refining. - Learning is more than theory — it’s about connection, stories, and energy.
- Even when life soaks you wet, walk into the room.
Sometimes, that’s all it takes to flip your day.
💬 Final Thoughts
I began my day thinking everything was ruined.
But by the end of the workshop, I realized — sometimes the messiest starts make the most memorable stories.
To Inspire.Srishti, Renald Sir, and Vishnu Prasad Sir — thank you for making the chaos worth it.
And to anyone reading this:
If life throws a little rain your way, wear it with pride.
Because the lessons waiting for you might just be worth getting soaked for.

Impressive
